I remembered you this morning
A vision from long ago
Two young people photographed
Among the hills of Wales
The time we shared was
precious
It was all so long ago
Only moments in eternity
It was so so long ago
The train ride from London to Wales
In an antiquated car
I met Selwyn there
The entire time he talked about the hobbits;
much to my despair
He invited me to meet his parents
Even though he wouldn't be there
A love affair that lasted for years
However, I was not aware
You met me at the station
That lovely smile upon your face
I'll shall never forget that moment
We were young and in a state of grace
