Kiss for the sublime
If I were to kiss again another woman
I would halt and ponder if that’s what’s going to give me salvation
I would ponder the gift for a suckling
In lust I would melt and sleep away
Tonight I await the kiss my one and only beloved
I would surrender without further ado to my ultimate lover
I would give all that I could smell the fragrance of my lover’s thereabouts
I know my beloved is seeking me
My lover will beckon me with the gift of love
But it’s god ‘s grace that I am waiting for - now and for the next life
Nothing else will give me the joy of being human - again - for the gift that my beloved has given me to experience to call out in this poetry of eternal love for my beloved !!!
