I see you lack empathy, I see you lack emotion.
I see you lack consideration in the midst of communication.
I see you lack self awareness, your words of anger blare like sirens into my ears.
I see you lack kindness, even though you’ve tried to practice it for years.
I see you have pain, and I see how you deal with it.
you store away the stress in hopes of never feeling it.
I see the way you tense up at triggers and after blow outs. I see the sad beneath the man and how you’re filled with doubt.
I see you lead with confusion in place of confidence
I see you lead me down with you to a place that is bottomless
I hate to say to you that as much as I love you I feel like we’re better off apart
I hate to say to your lack of respect has torn us apart.
I hate to say to you, your unkind words push me away.
I hate to say to you that I don’t want to stay.
I hate to say to you that I love you so dearly
I hate to say to you that I haven’t gotten anywhere, really.
