The fragrance of my childhood,
Hides in the folds of your embrace,
Wherever I may have come from
I have never met a human with so much grace
They say I am someone else's child
but I know our meeting was more than the force of fate
I am the child of another but you are my mother
And that's a fact I cannot erase
