A room of strangers, but I feel alone,
They smile and laugh, but I sit on my own.
My thoughts are racing, I can't find my place,
A world of faces, but I feel out of space.
The walls are closing, the air is tight,
I search for comfort, but find only night.
The noise is deafening, I can't hear a sound,
Trapped in this moment, I'm lost and unbound.
I long for quiet, for peace of mind,
To feel connected, to leave this bind.
