Dirty little word
Never known what it meant
To be proud

I seem to be in a world
Of expressionless men
Trying to rob me of self
That’s why I am labeled
By that dirty little world

Because I dare to live
Because I dare to try
To stand out
From the broken System

Pride to me is not a word
It’s an expression
How can i be humble?
I see a bit of the devil in that word

The more it’s used on me
The more i lose myself to it
And become it

I am proud of my life
But am I a demon of pride?

Have I failed
To differentiate pride from proud

Are the people correct
To label me an unbeliever
Cause I don not heed to their beliefs


God please grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change
The courage to change the things I can
And the wisdom to know the difference
