You always said you loved me
You promised never to leave me
You promised to never make me cry
But I never knew that they were all lies
I sat down admiring the wonderful nature and then a message popped in,
happy that it was yours I opened it with all enthusiasm and just then the phone dropped from my hands
That feeling surfed in
all I saw was pain
betrayal sleepless nights and numbness
I never knew I could feel so much pain in my heart
Reality hit me that the future we planned together was never coming forth
It was meant to happen and this made me never believe in true love
But I hope someday I did one
