Ten months felt like ten years.
And in every single day, you made sure to wipe my tears.
You were the only one who felt my silent fears.
You became closer to me than my closest peers.
Unfortunately, the ship of life always steers.
And the waves of destiny always flows.
One day, we'll have to split and steer towards our own ways.
Leaving behind us traces of our warm days.
Our memories will cross my mind like the sun's shiny rays.
To remind me that your name shall stay.
Even if you became thousands of miles away.
I hope you'll cherish my name the way I cherish yours.
I wish I was able to keep you away from any harmful lures.
But now, all I should do is to let you go.
While trying to force my life to flow.

How happy you made me feel.
