Something that I miss
I miss those blissful childhood days,
Where there was fun and enjoyment;
When the mind was free from anxiety,
With little things bringing happiness into life.
I miss the alluring beauty of our Mother Earth,
With office chores adhering my mind;
Standing amidst the snow covered ranges,
Where peace can be found easily.
I miss spending time with my family,
Over a cup of morning yea daily;
Grappling with the schedule all the day,
Thereby managing my time efficiently.
I miss the days from school,
Where cries and laughter were a part of life;
From missing the company of my old buddies,
I grew up slowly.
