To know and not to know
'Tis my burden to hold
What life hopes to bestow
Is of stories unknown

My heart sings poems
Of dreams untold
Each pitfall I take as a totem
To remember nights my tears consoled

My weary pen must see it strange
How I stow away in dreams
Scribbling down words in a fierce engage
Until they surpass reams

My burden is the common burden of all
To know and not to know
Is a fate we must not appall
On every dreamer, this burden must fall.
