Let's climb the stairway to the moon,
Then sit and view the beauty of earths' blue lagoon,
The moon will guide us as we go wander along,
With love beside us to fill the night with a song
with stars in our peripheral vision
we'll burn hotter than the sun's fission
and when the moon sets and our eyes grow weary
losing precious time lest not now grow Leary
for we have another full night to sing and too dance
sun it up politely another night of romance
