Late in the night I look out of the window.
I’m disappointed like a beaten commando.

I see the stars twinkling in the distance.
I want to be driven by infinite persistence.

I move my eyeballs to see the big moon.
I wish I could curtail the frustration soon.

The moon is in full shape & looks so bright.
I don’t know what awaits me after tonight.

The clock is ticking and taking time away.
How long do I have to live with the dismay?

An owl in a tree making a spooky sound.
My dreams are buried deep in the ground.

Hours have gone yet I’m still fully awake.
Can’t determine what’s the step to take.

The stars haven’t changed their position.
My life is not going in the proper direction.

The owl has been flew at somewhere else.
It is just an evidence that life changes place.

I too can roam anywhere, anytime I want.
Freedom is the thing that no one can grant.
