Scrambling to make sure the bills is paid cause they ain't gonna pay themselves
If they would then we could but nobodys home to feed the kids all alone at the table
Momma be here cooking if she was able but at least the roof is stable
Trying to catch a break there ain't no time for it fully exhausted
hard at work working hard at every job she fills
Still ain't enough hrs in the day
And there's no one to call upon the pay phone collections of calls missed is the children's father's all lock away from his son's for a few mistakes made in the past
