Beyond horizons and earthly atmosphere,
Lay a vast open field that ain’t so near.
Human Curiosity and relentlessness it has been,
To reach and discover all that’s unseen.

A global feature at its very peak,
Worlds outside our own are what nations seek.
A race to be the first to reach those places,
To arrive at a destination with no human traces.
An attempt to launch mankind towards a great await,
Taking a path that’s uncertain and not very straight!

Dangerous and uncertain space is known to be,
A carefully travelled journey, where we must foresee.
Relying on brilliant minds and dedicated souls,
To help steer the future and take hold of the controls.

Aboard a Falcon 9 or Atlas V we ride,
Being jettisoned into orbit, helping us glide.
A push & thrust into space and beyond,
Paving the way for next gens to build that bond.
Carrying Perseverance and Ingenuity we bid Godspeed,
As we venture beyond Mother Earth and hope to succeed.

Humans on Mars in 2030 or foot on the Moon in ’24,
The current year though questionable, the decade is far from a bore!
In the end, an Endeavour it is, to carry people through time and space,
Resulting in a galaxy-wide search for the perfect place.
