Courage
It takes courage to be real,
To push on when things are ruff,
To be who you are without really caring about what other people think,
And to be in deep fortitude.
It takes courage to come up from a place of total darkness into the light. For one like me, one little six-year-old, with no dad, just my mom, and my sister with me, It took courage to come up from that sad dark and gloomy place, and here I am now, a new dad and a new life.
It took courage to accept that I had a different life than everyone else,
It took courage to accept that my dad had forgotten about my family and me, It took courage to keep moving on with life,
And here I am with a new dad, and a new life.
Have grit,
Be Lion-Hearted,
And do not give up.
So, all that has happened to me,
I say to you,
Be intrepid,
Do not cower in the darkness,
But have courage.
