Rise
Yet here we are again,
Look at who you have turned into,
Busy seeking for refugee in their souls,
Trying to turn them into your sentinels,
While you should be nurturing yourself,
But yet you are wasting time,
Expecting them to uplift you.

When will you realise you're enough,
That on your own you are a diamond,
Just that you're in the hands of the wrong gemologist,
Now your spark is kept hidden,
But you have turned a blind eye on that,
Because you've decided to hide that crystal gem in you,
Now all you are is a useless foul.

Rise and shine,
Let them hear about you,
You'll be called names but you'll survive,
Let the world feel your presence,
Let your shine be the light during their blackouts,
Be the reason they look upto tomorrow,
That's when you'll realise you're alive,
But for now,
You are suffocated.

Yes it's you again,
Again and again I'll repeat,
You're more worthy that you can measure,
Stop expecting and start living,
Maybe the little life experience will do you well,
So that the throne in heaven can secure you are seat,
You've been alone far too long,
How can you survive this again in the next life?

Rise from the ashes,
But never fake to be different,
Because life itself is cruel,
And soon you'll find your place,
Where you'll rejoice being a warrior,
For now, You are still far from the start.
