Sometimes I wonder why
People passing by
Letting life slip away
Without a simple "hi"

We all go through something
But can't we be kind?
A smile can go a long way
And bring peace of mind

In this cold world we're living in
Why should I care?
Can't we all just get along
And show each other we're there

So let's stand up
And make a change
Spread love and peace
And break the chains

I'll say good morning
I'll say good night
I'll send blessings your way
And hope things go right

It costs nothing to be kind
So why can't we try?
To live in harmony
And soar in the sky

So the question remains
Why should I care?
Let's come together
And show we're aware

Of the power of love
And the strength of unity
Let's make this world a better place
For you and for me

So next time you pass by
Just say hello
It might just make someone's day
And let love flow

Can't we all just be
Living in peace and harmony
