They Don't Know Me
Winter months and bright summer day's
Recalling how we all were raised
Ethola Ward would often say
That all of us are family
There'd be time's we'd disagree
Still Loving each leaf of our family tree
Nothing is lost in memory
As I recall how it use to be
It's been forty year's since she passed away
Still fill the lost this very day
Time has passed thing's left behind
What once was young is wiser now
We ask ourselves where went the time
What once was close is strangers now
For in my search to find the truth
I became a man you never knew
