I am your beacon
But you walk away with a glower look
Now I'm lost in the shadows and feeling empty
My heart is broken and drowned in sorrow

I aim to be the star to lead your way
But you bring me down
Say goodbye to our dreams
Let the memories still flow

Try to be your guiding light
But you choose to vanish into the night
I set you free even when it’s hard
My heart aches cuz I know it isn’t enough

I thought I’m your big bright North Star
Instead you slip away like a ray of light
