The journey thus far;
Has been a long one;
For I have traveled from afar.
While looking upon high at the morning star.
I realized that light I was seeing traveled like me;
Very fast, and from far.
I traveled so fast when life hit me, it smashed in like a iron bar.
Grateful I am, that my Lord saved me from a pit of my own selfishness;
sinking in lake of tar.
I learned to persevere through trials of fire, and held to my faith as firm as the rock of Gibraltar.
For He alone, my savior, is my North Star;
Captain of my journey into the eternal, just for today, He carries me through the journey;
Thus Far.
