I remember loving you, oh yes..... I do. I recall the many times I sacrificed my smile, just so that I can witness yours, you were unhappy with my baggage of the past so I did away with it, I never did mind to close those doors, you would come home with an empty stomach & for you, I always kept a prepared meal, you complained of aching feet, so I would gladly rub them while wondering how good that must feel, you never did have much time for intellectual conversation, so I'd listen to you while keeping my mouth shut in frustration, you know...
