The One In My Closet.
I am to scared to look under my bed,
But i know he does lurk there.
I am to scared to open the closet doors,
As he hides beneath my pile of clothes.
Mummy tells me no one is there,
But that is because when she comes,
He hides in the air vent.
I tried to tell him to go away,
Yet all i end up doing is crying to mommy.
Daddy tells me i am just being silly,
But that was because when he was little,
He never got a room by himself.
Last night i accidentally left the closet doors open,
Now the monster lurks in the open.
I shine my flashlight to blind him away.
Now he hisses when ever he sees me,
So i keep playing my radio to make him be quiet.
I was glad,
After all my screaming,
Mummy made my brother share a room with me.
Yet, it did not stop him,
From wanting me dead.
