My father used to teach me some new words everyday during my childhood.
And I was an active listener.
I learnt many new words effortlessly.
We sang in unison,
And my father was a happy Speaker.
Time rolled by.
Now I was in higher class.
I learnt phonology and pronunciation here.
And discerned the right pronunciation of all the earlier learnt words.
And this is the root-cause of our broken bond.
My father didn't want to make me learn new words.
And I am all alone in this new-found 'correct pronunciation of words' kinda world.
Time rolled by.
After my pursuations and efforts, I somehow made my father understand the real motive behind learning those new things.
He is now a new kind of spirit.
We are living with this unbroken father-daughter bond.
