Sometimes I hope you read my poetry one day
and realise how much pain I was in
Because I cannot say it out loud and
I lie when you ask how I am
So I dont blame you for not noticing
I just wish you would
Because it is so damn hard to fake a smile
But once you do
You have to keep it up
And no one realises the happiness is fake
Because they stop looking
Once you say I'm fine
And it is so damn hard to explain why I cant go out today
