Let's climb the stairway to the moon,
Then sit and view the beauty of earths' blue lagoon,
The moon will guide us as we go wander along,
With love beside us to fill the night with a song
Of hope we long,our dear love lost
Let's climb to the sun
As well whip the nuns that prayed to God
To hurl us down the stairway that took us to the moon
And tried to laugh as we scraped our feet and knees
Sinners we are,not losers
Thieves we are,and not cowards
I pray tell we're not hurled down again
As we approach with new faith
