I did

As i quietly peeped over their shoulders,
I knew what i saw would definitely wrought wanders.
Not that it made no sense, neither that it felt cliche
But that, this one sacrifice would forever make me free; free forever.

If only i could cast a magic wand to turn back the hands of time,
Or trigger a time machine to
eliminate my crime,
Only if i could cause my regrets and my actions to rhyme,
Sync them till they became one, this man wouldn't have died.

And so i stood there,
So miserable, yet grateful.
Incredibly sad, yet full of Joy.
Remarkably regretful, yet blissful.

I knew I did this to him.
I know I did.
