Abandonment.
In shadows deep where silence weaves its tale,
A heart once full now echoes with despair,
The touch of love, like autumn leaves, does pale,
And in its stead, the chill of absence glare.

Once vibrant hues of passion brightly burned,
Now faded whispers of what was once true,
In empty rooms, where laughter softly turned,
To memories that haunt the morning dew.

A tapestry of dreams unraveled thread,
Each strand a promise broken, left behind,
The fabric torn by hands that fear has led,
Leaving nothing but sorrow for the blind.

Yet still within the void, a spark remains,
A flicker 'gainst the dark, a silent plea,
For warmth and light, for love's sweet balm again,
To mend the wounds that time cannot set free.

Oh, abandonment, cruel and unkind,
The sting now pierces the soul with every breath,
But know this truth, though thou art far behind,
Within us lies the power to overcome death.

For even in the depths of loss and pain,
A strength emerges from the ashes cold,
A phoenix rising, born anew again,
To face the world, both brave and bold.

So let not sorrow's weight consume your heart,
Nor let despair cloud your vision clear,
For though we are apart, we are not apart,
From hope, from love, and from fear.
