I'm doing this ,
Just to give you bliss .
Otherwise me writing a poetry is itself a comedy ,
But I hope this gives you melody .
All this is coming straight from the heart ,
And trust me it is not as easy as a fart .
You've always done so much for me and I was never able to reciprocate ,
Hoping this would give me a place in your heart to locate .
You were always by my side ,
Without seeing time and tide .
You always took care ,
Acting for me as a flare .
You are a friend who is more like a sister ,
And the one who in tough times has been my barrister .
Helping each other in friendship is not a favour rather a duty ,
A way to save each other's booty .
I know I ask you to keep strings of our friendship tight ,
It is just because I don't want our bond of friendship to get light .
Although I know this world does not have the power to get our friendship frail ,
Also I'm sure our friendship will certainly leave a trail .
Our friendship sometimes goes up and down ,
But I feel that is needed just like an adorable spark in the town .
I could also compare you like a Lamborgini to handle ,
Because to me you are something very delicate and absolutely indispensable .
Without you what my life would be I simply ponder ,
But to be honest I know that it would be a squander .
There are some people who come in our life to be till the end ,
And let me tell you , you are that one friend .
