Quick as lightning,
My silver tong can pierce you,
Now isn't that frightening?

Sharp as a dagger,
Sly as a fox,
I'm no bragger,
But my writing rocks ,

Maybe many maybe few,
Some old and some new,
Whoever you may be,
I owe it to you I see

There in the dark,
There in the light,
Left your mark,
After one hell of a fight,

You read my poems,
You like my tales,
Even when my writing fails,
