Today, I speak of one who fought many fascinating battles.
I speak of the world's second - largest and second most populous continent.
A continent of many regions with diverse populations, speaking hundreds of distinct languages and practicing an array of cultures and religions.
I speak of the continent with the world's largest river, the "River Nile", flowing Northward through 11 countries; Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Kenya, Democratic Republic of Congo, Sudan, Burrundi, South Sudan, Erithrea and Egypt.
One whose Sahara is the largest desert in the world and is bigger than the Continental USA.
A continent, where Mansa Musa, the richest man ever, an Emperor of the Mali empire in the 14th century came from.
I speak of AFRICA
MAMA AFRICA
Even today, I could hear the echoes of your voice, calling out: Freedom, Freedom, Freedom.

Yes!! To them, Africa is poor, hopeless and dark.
But to me, Africa is my root,
Africa is my home, Africa is my Pride, Africa is my Love, my beautiful sunshine.
I am black and beautiful and I owe it to Mama Africa.
I am strong and energetic, because your blood runs through my veins.
Today, I'm able to fight for my freedom because you were a freedom fighter, and so I am.
And I believe that through UNITY, Africa shall rise up from those shackles of adversity and slavery someday.
I love and believe in Africa.
