It whispers to me,
suggesting I've lost my knack,
my voice slipping away,
or perhaps just dormant,
buried deeper than I knew.

I can't quite grasp
what's amiss.
Is it neglect,
or perhaps unawareness?
Did I let it wither
in the shadows of doubt,
or hide it away,
fearing it was never enough?
