Out on the cold
without shelter, blankets and jerseys
People are shivering
without food and water,
they are dying from hunger and thirst.

They are struggling
with no families to call their own.
Strangers with no love to give,
they treat poor people like trash.
With no humanity and sympathy to show,
they get disgusted and spit at them.

Everyday and night
they die of hunger,
strive to get a loaf of bread

Seeing these people suffer
kills me from within.
I want to help,
but I don't know how.

I'm hurt by the way they live
they act like it's normal.
They get insulted by different people every day,
but all they do is respect and show humanity.
