Smiling t shirts (poema en español e ingles ambos)
9 am working time,
I dressed myself and carried a bag,
I moved out from my house,
And walked alone on the footpath,
Many people were visible,
But to look at one the rest seemed impossible,
A long, handsome, charming man,
Wearing a grey t-shirt and smiling,
I responded with a smile,
And then moved towards my office.
I worked like a mule,
And got scolded by my boss,
The day felt harsh and stressful,
Each minute a frightful rhyme,
I worked until it was over,
And waited for departure,
The day finally ended,
At a fixed 9 pm,
I thought to have some croissants,
And I purchased two.
When I reached home,
And took a shower,
Then my girlfriend called me,
For a meeting tomorrow,
The next day I met her at a cafe,
It was filled with people laughing and shouting,
A man was calling someone,
An old man was waiting,
Two couples were crazy,
Wearing matching yellow t-shirts,
Smiling at each other,
So focused they didn't notice spilled coffee.
Groups of young men sipped coffee,
Two boys enjoyed their toffee,
The day was perfect,
But night seemed sad,
I dropped her at her house,
And was returning back,
While walking I saw a man,
Wearing a white t-shirt,
Smiling at a picture,
Maybe of someone special,
I ignored him and started to walk again.
Suddenly, raindrops began to fall,
I looked at him and imagined,
The rain wasn't touching him,
maybe because wind Blown away the drops,
Suddenly a storm passed by me,
And my eyes closed,
When they opened,
I was standing alone,
I thought he might left,
As the rain started heavily,
I moved my feet fast,
And reached home,
I slept without making any noise.
The next day I dreamed,
Of taking a photograph,
With a white background,
Wearing a red shirt,
I was ready for the picture,
Then I woke up,
And got ready for work,
While walking,
A dog bit my leg,
I cried hard,
And fell down,
With revenge on my mind.
I got up,
With a stone,
I hit the dog,
And left the place alone,
Until it could be dead,
I started walking again,
And this time I found an old man,
wearing a green t-shirt,
Who needed help.
After helping him,
he smiled And thanked me,
I reached my office,
And returned home at night.
I suddenly started thinking hard,
About those smiling people,
Who are they,
And why they smile?
With no answer,
I get to sleep,
The next day,
I got news,
Someone had passed away.
In the morning gloom,
I decided to attend the...
