Be a Farmer to Your Field
A man who refuses, to protect his fields from snakes,
Is a man that is willing, to put everything at stake.
Such a foolish man, allowing snakes to sneak through stalls,
This man is more like a mouse, and not a man at all.

But...

I am like a farmer, and you are like my field,
I will sow and reap, only as much as you will yield.
The Lord will always bless me, even if my crop withers,
But I will not let creatures hang around, especially ones that slither.

So when a man is tending, to every crop laid in his field,
He must always keep an eye out, for serpents who've tried to stay concealed.
He should bring his hammer, and a handy little pouch,
Catch any snakes he finds, and make sure they no longer sneak about.

That's why...

I am like a farmer, and you are like my field,
I will sow and reap, only as much as you will yield.
The Lord will always bless me, even if my crop withers,
But I will not let creatures hang around, especially ones that slither.

A man who cannot stop a snake, could never hope to protect himself.
Nor could he ever be expected, to protect anybody else.
If he has invested anything, in the land he's sowed his seed,
Then he's a fool for not protecting, all the things he needs.

So...

I am like a farmer, and you are like my field,
I will sow and reap, only as much as you will yield.
The Lord will always bless me, even if my crop withers,
But I will not let creatures hang around, especially ones that slither.

Do not be prey, I do pray, to things that wish to steal and kill,
Do not be weak, let serpents sneak, or ever have their fill.
For it is you and your family's loss, if you cannot protect your land,
And they will die, out and inside, whether or not you understand.

Because of this...

I am like a farmer, and you are like my field,
I will sow and reap, only as much as you will yield.
The Lord will always bless me, even if my crop withers,
But I will not let creatures hang around, especially ones that slither.
