Falling out of love
The lonely night, the dreary sky
Glares at me and wonders why
A great burden heaves the heart
Since two souls have fallen apart.
Emptiness feels no empty at all
Memories still linger after the fall
Darkness dives in not too soon
Slowly, just like phases of the moon.
A garden of love which bloomed all time
Turned to dust, not worth a dime.
Answers were the heartaches that remain
You took too long to understand the pain.
It was too late for the heart to heal
Before pride and honour it was forced to kneel
Love turned blind casting a wall
Faults and mistakes I overlooked it all.
Rather hefty price the heart still pays
Maybe there was an error in our ways
Eventually the push turned to a shove
And amidst it all, I fell out of Love.
