Where is humanity?
We used to trust easily,
but now trust is always
out of sight.
We used to walk out freely,
but now we have to walk
while watching our back.
We used to mourn at funerals,
but now we go to funerals
to eat and chitchat.
We used to marry for love,
but now we marry for
worldly gains.
We used to shelter
homeless people,
but now we're too afraid
to let anyone in.
We used to have love
for each other,
but now our hearts are
filled with hatred for each other.
