Friends And Priorities
I don't fight with my friends,
I no more get upset,
I no longer expect them,
To be their old selves,
For,
Circumstances change,
Priorities rearrange,
Responsibilities grow,
Insecurities flow,
Vulnerabilities scream,
Anxities peek,
Aspirations mount,
Confidence clouds,
Moods fluctuate,
Emotions break.
And so, I don't want to come in between,
Their desires to fulfill their dreams,
I no longer complain,
I understand and don't blame...
In this strenuous journey of life,
The rigour and the strife,
Caught up in this demanding race,
Are the humans of today...
