When I open up my eyes to live to see another day,
To be given another chance to start over and give praise.
To right some wrongs and to live gracefully,
I smile because it's another blessing that has been given to me.
When I am in so much pain and it hurts terribly,
Excruciating with every movement and no relief.
Limitless to work and be able to breathe,
I smile because I'm still mobile to be able to do some things.
When I witness someone's wonderful good deed,
Like helping the homeless, the elderly and someone in need.
I know what's being manifested is Godly,
I smile because the seeds they planted, will harvest greatly.
When feeling joyful after life's ruff day to day,
To be able to put a sincere smile on someone else's face.
To still feel thankful, grateful,
and be amazed,
I smile because my faith will not be erased.
When I see my love one's successfully succeed,
To accomplish goals, dreams and achievements.
Being fierce, hard working and consistent,
I smile because I'm proud and I knew that they could do it.
"I smile, I smile, and I smile"
