Stormy Days; Calmer Weather

71:5.1 Competition is essential to social progress, but competition, unregulated, breeds violence. In current society, competition is slowly displacing war in that it determines the individual’s place in industry, as well as decreeing the survival of the industries themselves. (Murder and war differ in their status before the mores, murder having been outlawed since the early days of society, while war has never yet been outlawed by mankind as a whole.)
Stormy Days; Calmer Weather
Storms today, that’s what they say.
Must be prepared for them today.
On my travels, we will see
The Will of God surrounding me.

We live within the wheel of God.
He knows us all, we’re on His squad.
Whether, or not, you shine in life
He knows, full well, what you are like.

He wants to help, that’s what Love is.
His Love is very sensitive.
When you look, you have been found.
So, off your knees, don’t be so bound!

Keep a grip, things aren’t so bad.
Chaos only makes us sad.
Vote, yes vote, your heart and soul.
Look inside, then vote your role.

That’s the only say we have.
Power yields, unless it’s bad.
Democracy throughout our land.
Let the vote be how we stand.

If only we would all just vote!
We would throw out so many goats!
But they protect themselves with rules
That keep them all above us fools.

They make it hard, but not illegal
To vote for folks who are unequal.
Power never likes to change.
To yield to votes through history’s strange.

So, Thank You, Father, we’re on track.
Progress, progress, You enact.
Please help us on the road ahead.
Let calmer souls all rule our heads.
