Don’t judge my Jury
#WritcoPoemChallenge

The jury is out on my journey through this life
Judging by the way I’ve been judged by twelve
Noon and the noose cant come soon enough
To satisfy those who hang on my every word

take a guess hangman nothing more reveals less
than a shadow of doubt, cast upon I who revels
in the gavel’s bang, Im guilty of being innocent
& Still I throw myself at the mercy of the court

I grovel and plead my case. please! You’ve got The right man, I should be held responsible
I should be held to a higher standard in this
High Court of Reason. I don’t object ur honor

Objection overruled. my objective is subjective
If the facts are I’m right, but what’s left after
I’ve left the laws of life on the table and taken
The plea deal of a lifetime so I can go home

Court is adjourned, this case is closed
