I decide to remain peaceful
Irrespective of the situations that arise
Triggers they cannot ever be
To disturb my peace of mind

For long I have been subjected to turbulence
For things that are external and beyond my control
For never such things from now on
Will be able to trigger me from inside


Afterall I am only a peaceful soul
Who has got deviated from the path?
In the process was subjected to storms from within
Now is the time that I get back


The definition of normalcy had I changed
To mean the stress, worry and conflict within as normal
Now I decide to change this
To mean peace and calmness from within


I am a peaceful soul
Something beyond a definition of an ego acquired
But a state which is natural with its calmness and tranquillity
And having an internal strength and stability from inside
