Could you compete with silence,
Could you make it to the end,
Without a crack in patience,
Without giving at the bend.
You're allowed to change your opinion,
Based on the facts and what is right,
You're allowed to break free from tyranny,
That wont let you sleep at night.
This is not an Orwellian tragedy,
Although it feels like it just might,
Turn into something bigger,
Something gnarling, out of sight.
Remember the more that you provoke it,
The less it can hide or show it’s teeth.

also buried 6 feet deep.
