Tunneled Thoughts
"HELP!"
"PLEASE!"
There's no way out.
Screaming for someone,
Yet no one's around.
Trapped in a maze,
Anxiety is high,
Lost within my own mind,
Trying to find the light,
At the end of the tunnel,
Like they all say..
But my tunnel is dark,
& I can't find my way.
So what am I to do
As I'm in this war with no way out,
Just me , my thoughts , & my silent shouts .
I'm tired of being stuck in my head ,
Waking up each day ,
Feelings of nothing but dread.
They say It'll get better..
If I ignore them ,
they'll fade -
But it's not that easy ,
My thoughts lead me astray.
Trying to find a happy ,
Place in the storm ,
But my mental foundation has already been torn -
Apart like a tornado ,
My life is a mess .
My mind plays Survival Of The Fittest ,
Yet I only want rest .
But each day ,
I have to make myself ,
Get up & fight ,
As I'm Trapped in this tunnel ,
Searching for a light.
A light that one-day will be at the end of my tunnel.
I have to find ,
That light - at the end of my tunnel...

Kay.
