All in vain
I don't care about anyone's beliefs or karma or fate,
rules of a perfect society or the ownership claims of lands,
None of them, none of them justifies those innocent bodies drenched in red.

They took birth in a race they didn't choose,
They have cradled in lands same as you,
Lives of those innocents
are being taken in consequences of someone else's hate.
I hate how this poem doesn't help anything, Nothing i do helps those kids, All in vain,
All in vain.
The lessons learnt at school,
Pledges and oaths righteous,
Prayers, definations of rights and wrongs,
Ways of living life, rules that society abides by,
Developed nations, certificates and medals,
None of them helps them,
Tears of empathy, words of empathy spoken from thousand miles
And then we all go and sleep sound at night,
forget everything the next day,
All in vain,
All in vain.
