Men are the trees of God
Planted deep in the soil of soul
In the Winter they sleep and dream
Perennials that awaken in the Spring
Their lives flourish green with newborn hope
In the Summer in their absolute beauty
They bring life to all world
In the fall their leaves begin to turn
To hues of unfathomable beauty
Like a beautiful woman who has lived her Life in Grace
They fade into a Winter of a job well done
Their sleep is never a sleep of death
Some return for 3000 years
Men are the trees of God
