In cracked concrete, where shadows reign
A flower sprouted, defying all pain
Out of season, unexpected sight
A beacon of hope, in desolate night


Mockers jeered, "What folly is this?"
"A bloom in winter's chill and darkness?"
Their scornful laughter echoed through the air
But the flower stood firm, without a care
