Jos In The Morning
To a strange land I wake
To the cold morning I quake
The wind storm monsoon
As I reach out for a hood
Even as I triple the blanket
My soul plead for more heat
for I can feel the temperature
as it decreases with time
Then comes a sudden brightness
It was NEPA, the finally supplied
Electricity
Rushing out of the coverlet
In dissapointment, I freeze
to the cold for I had no heater...
