ode to a summer day

The long dim shadows,
Of surrounding trees,
The hooting sound of an owl,
With enchanting whispers of the breeze,
The leaves crumpled in the stiff fall breeze
The animals began to stir as the blood red sun began to fall from the sky, saying so-long to the day until tomorrow.
The animals settled down to a long nights rest as the sun finally fell from the sky.
The sun rose early the next day
The sun began to warm the earth once more. The trees and then the animals began to spring to life
