The dreams have ended.
The stories have all been told.
Fantasies that used to spark
The souls flames,
Have all faded.
Reality is all that is left.
A reality that speaks to my
Ill choices.
A reality that bleeds my mistakes.
I am left with only the truth…
I will never have the dream .
I will waste away in the lazy routine
That is this life.
I will suffer thru with the selfish ones
I have chosen.
Finally, I will die with the regret
Of all the dreams I let vanish,
Simply because I was too
Afraid to leave you.
