I meet your eyes and smile
we place words here and there
distracting my serene pain
you walked in my existence long ago
yet, you only see what I show
I am standing on the edge
covered in masks and cicatrix
you will never behold the entire of me
young soul and rusted heart
pending desire and expectations
yearn for home's warmth
perhaps even yours
Could you be my soulmate?
maybe not
I am falling in the depth
cut by the edges
so,
I will watch the moon's reflection ,
every star in the sky
and make a wish in every passing car
